About Dr. Shailesh Sharma
Dr. Shailesh Sharma is Senior Interventional Cardiologist at Ramkrishna Care Hospital, Raipur, with more than 25 years of experience in cardiology. He also runs Srishanti Heart Clinic, Raipur, his private cardiac practice.
He completed his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Pt. J L N Memorial Medical College, Raipur, and earned his D.M. Cardiology from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. D.M. Cardiology is a super-speciality degree, the highest postgraduate qualification in cardiology.
His practice covers both non-invasive diagnostics and advanced interventional procedures. Diagnostic services include ECG, echocardiography, TMT (treadmill stress test), stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, and Holter study. Interventional procedures include coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty, IVUS, FFR, valvuloplasty, and pacemaker implantation.
He manages a broad range of cardiac conditions including coronary artery disease, heart attack, arrhythmia, valvular heart disease, heart failure, hypertension and more.
Early in his career, Dr. Sharma worked at Batra Hospital and St. Stephen Hospital in Delhi, gaining experience in high-volume cardiac care. Returning to Chhattisgarh, he served at Sector 9 Hospital, Bhilai, and Modern Medical Institute, Raipur (now NH MMI), before building his practice in Raipur, where he has been a trusted name in cardiac care for over two decades.
He is a Life Member of the Cardiology Society of India (CSI), the Association of Physicians of India (API), and the Indian Medical Association (IMA), keeping his practice aligned with current standards in cardiac care.
He believes in the judicious integration of non-invasive and invasive cardiology.
